One full time account executive position was available during the period of 6/1/09 – 9/30/10. The availability of this position was advertised as follows:

We received 41 resumes and applications.
Final interviews were offered to 6 people. (4 men, 2 women) 4 people agreed to final interviews. (3 men, 1 woman)

On Thursday, November 5, 2009 we gave an offer letter to the most qualified candidate. He accepted our offer on Friday, November 6, 2009.

We continue to offer an on-air internship-training program. This program involves instructing young people who are interested in a career in broadcasting. The interns are allowed supervised time on the air, and are critiqued on a regular basis. It is hoped that the interns will gain skills that qualify them for higher-level positions in broadcasting.


We continue to participate in an Internet job bank to promote job openings in broadcasting with regular on air announcements. KWIL & KHPE each air 365 “Christian Jobs Dot Com”: 30-second announcements per year at various times of day. Christian Jobs Dot Com is an employment agency, which posts job openings in broadcasting. We also have a link to www.christianjobs.com on our station web site.

No new full time employees were hired during the period of 6/1/08-5/31/09.

One full time account executive position was available during the period of 6/1/07-5/31/08. The availability of this position was advertised in two local newspapers, The Corvallis Gazette Times and The Albany Democrat Herald. From these advertisements we received 4 applications. From these 4 applicants, one person was chosen for the position. She was hired 9/4/07.
